The brief was to create a refined, seamless wall finish that would complement the surrounding high-end materials while remaining entirely practical for a bathroom environment. The client envisioned a soft, natural tone that would sit comfortably within the overall design scheme, adding a subtle, tactile texture without overpowering the space.
A Pastellone finish in a ‘Natural’ tone was selected for its exceptional durability and suitability for wet areas. Careful preparation of the background surfaces was essential to establish a stable foundation. The material was then applied by hand in controlled layers to achieve a consistent, lightly textured appearance.
Meticulous attention to detail was paramount around all fittings, edges, and junctions to maintain crisp, clean lines and ensure the finish performs reliably within a high-moisture setting.
The completed finish provides a calm, understated backdrop that elevates the character of the bathroom while offering a highly durable and water-resistant surface. The natural texture works in perfect harmony with the surrounding materials, contributing to a timeless, elegant, and low-maintenance interior.
